suppression operations
while maintaining a
minimum exposure to risk
for the participants.
Revised to reflect new fire experiences, this 2002
edition includes updated references to other
safety-related NFPA standards, plus:
- A new requirement for periodic evaluation of a
training center burn building by a licensed
professional engineer with burn building evaluation
experience
- Increased prerequisites for students participating in
live fire training evolutions
- Increased requirements on becoming familiar with
exits and other features of acquired structure
